What do you do with a bag of broken, tangled, and forgotten costume jewellery? If you're us — you rescue it, clean it, remake it, and give it a whole new life. Welcome to Rescued & Remade, our ongoing upcycling project here at Arts Crafts Shack.
Over the past few weeks, we've been documenting the entire journey on YouTube — from the very first unboxing right through to the finished pieces now available in our shop. Here's the full story, episode by episode.
Episode 1: The Unboxing 📦
It all started with a bag of broken and costume jewellery. We had no idea what was inside — and honestly, that was half the fun. Watch as we open it up and discover what we've got to work with.

Episode 2: Washing & Sorting 🧼
Before anything can be remade, it needs a good clean. In Episode 2, we wash and sort through every piece — assessing what's salvageable, what can be upcycled, and what's beyond saving. The results were surprisingly satisfying!

Episode 3: Remaking — Necklace & Earrings ✨
This is where the magic happens. In Episode 3, we take some of the rescued beads and components and transform them into a beautiful matching necklace and earrings set. From broken to beautiful — this one is our favourite.

Episode 4: Remaking — Bracelets 💜
The rescued haul kept on giving! In Episode 4, we remake more pieces from the same batch — this time a set of bracelets, each one unique and full of character.
